Open Studio January 2026

Welcome to another newbie-free Open Studio! As there will be no absolute beginners to teach, you will have my undivided attention to help you plan your projects, choose the best building methods, decide on forms to use, best glazing strategies etc. Sound good? Let me know!

You pay for 6 glorious weeks and get a planning session for free! Think of all that time away from the kids (or other interruptions!) in a space just for us - no other noisy events happening in the same space - just us creating!

The free planning session is available (not compulsory!) to discuss future builds, choose the best construction methods and the best type of surface decoration for your future creations. If there is time, I'm happy to demonstrate different surface decoration techniques too!

So bring your clay, toolkit and enthusiasm and let's make something fabulous!

Supplies Provided:
- Canvas covered boards to work on during class
- Wood ware boards
- Rolling pins, rolling guides, banding wheels,
paddles, rasps, forms and texture tools
- Glazes and underglazes

Not provided:
- Trays or boxes to transport your work

A reminder that there is no storage space provided at this venue, and cart/trays are recommended to aid transport of your creations, tools and clay.

Masks are welcome, but not required. We kindly ask that you stay home if you are feeling unwell. Thank you 😊
