Spring Vase Workshop

Join me for a creative time at my cozy home studio, learning the process of sculpting your own cute ceramic vase/s.

In this workshop we will be exploring handbuilding techniques as I guide you through creating your own vase design. You can choose to make it with or without handles, simple or intricate, colourful or neutral, glossy or matte. Let your imagination run wild!

This class is beginner friendly, with no previous experience with clay required. In your two-hour session, you will be able to make one or two vessels (dependant upon the choice of design and surface decoration).

All the guidance, clay, forms, tools, cutters, texture tools, and stamps you need will be available to you. You can also choose to colour your creations with underglaze/engobes (pottery paint) or select a glaze that will be applied later.

Your work will be ready for you in 3/4 weeks - ready to display your spring flowers!

It's a small home studio and space is limited. If the times shown don't work for you, please get in touch as others may be available ([email protected]). and if you would like to accommodate a larger group, do contact me as this may be possible (there is the option that I come to you for a pottery-making party!).

Children (6-15) are welcome, if accompanied by a paying adult. Tickets are required for all attending (both adults and children). Under 10's may find the length of workshop challenging. If you want a shorter session then please contact me to arrange!

The studio is in Central Tsawwassen and the address will be provided after booking.
