Tree Lanterns, Santas and Gnomes!!!

Join me for a creative time at my home studio, learning the process of scultping your own ceramic tree lanterns, Santas or gnomes!

In this workshop we will be exploring handbuilding techniques as I guide you through creating your own designs. You can choose to make them luminaries (or not), simple or complicated, colourful or plain, whimiscal or realistic. Let your imagination take you on a journey to a ceramic forest, Santa's grotto or wherever your gnome lives!

This class is beginner friendly, with no previous experience with clay required. In your two-and-a-half-hour session, you will be able to make up to four pieces (please be aware that more complicated designs will take more time and may reduce this number). They can be all trees, all Santas, all gnomes or a comination!

All the guidance, clay, forms, tools, cutters, and texture tools and stamps will be available to you. You can also choose to colour your pieces with underglaze (pottery paint) or, for the trees, - select a glaze that will be applied later.

Your masterpieces will be available to pick up Sun 21st or Mon 22nd Dec in Tsawwassen - ready to be the stars in your holiday decorations!

This workshop can accommodate 8 people per session. Larger groups may be possible and there is always the option that I come to you for a pottery party!

Please note: if the times shown don't work for you, contact me as others may be available..

Children (6-15) are welcome, if accompanied by a paying adult. Tickets are required for all attending (both adults and children). Under 10's may find the length of workshop challenging. If you want a shorter session then please contact me to arrange!

Masks are welcome, but not required. We kindly ask that you stay home if you are feeling unwell. Thank you 😊
